On all Sundays and public holidays from Easter to November 1 the Ehrenburg comes to life.
Visitors both young and old walk in the footsteps of the knights of Ehrenberg during an exciting castle tour or when shooting a bow and arrow or firing a catapult.
Our historical craftsmen and -women invite you to watch and join in as they ply their various trades: our castle potter and stonemason are joined by our pages and maids who demonstrate the art of breadmaking, weaving, felting and blacksmithery.
Incidentally, visitors dressed in mediaeval costume are especially welcome to the Ehrenburg!
And those who wish to celebrate their birthday at a real knights’ castle have come to the right place on our Living Castle days.
